Philly-delphia-topia

Okay so, last weekend(we are running a little behind schedule here), well last weekend I went to Phillydelpia. Hehehehe! And I went because there was a comics festival and I had such a good time. I stayed with my friends Molly and Nate who are younger than I, wonderful cartoonists, and deeply in love which is always nice to see. I am their third wheel supporting them and cheering on that deep true love they have for each other. They called me "stripes" and I think this is my favorite nickname so far because it is not simply a phonetic world-play nickname, it has to do with my personality.

Here is us at Partner's and Son's, a comic book store, for the Halloween-themed after party. Halloween came twice this year! How often does that happen!!!! August Lipp, another cartoonist-head, did my face paint at this restaurant where we hunkered down escaping the rain in. Originally I had wanted to paint myself like a tiger but it was the first time using the paints and he wanted to be the one to pop the metaphorical cherry so I let him do-me-up like my character: Peacemonger.
Jasper Krents copied me like the litte-brother he is and then that night I dreamt he kissed me! Super weird. But then the night after I dreamt about him again! He was wiping tears out of my eyes - super intimate.

Otherwise, what can I say. I don't think I have laughed this much in a while. Natalie and I shared a futon and spent the night showing each other our "scariest moves" and tormenting Austin English for his under-dog-complex. Special moments with Owi Lee, whom Austin astutely observed is, "so earnest that it throws you off-guard".

Beautiful people, goes without saying.
